Asazena at the front desk gave us amazing service and helped make our stay as great as it was. She is a gift to the St. Francis Hotel for sure. Love the way the elevators work.
It was a little chilly in the room even though we had the heater on high.
The stuff was PLEASANT, there was a private parking. Walking distance to Lori's Diner, where you can have lunch. Send regards to valet.
Ideal base for exploring San Francisco. Staff was courteous, rooms were nice - wonderful experience. Hotel's valet was top! There is restaurant Carusos at the premises😀❤😀
The location of the hotel
Room booked for three adults, third bed was a simple extra bed! This can not be for a hotel of this kind.Breakfast far too expensive 35 dollars.
Great location and have always been very impressed by the staff at this excellent hotel.
Can be a little noisy - especially at the weekends
The staff was so helpful, professional and friendly. Check in took all of 30 seconds. The North tower is fantasic for views of the city and bay. The elevators, if you don't have a fear of heights, are magnificent with views of the city. Loved it. Right across the street from Union Square, get the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf right outside the front door and shopping galore. Everything in walking distance. Fantastic!!
Bedding is great as in any Westin hotels, marble bathroom with nice design.
Small room, no CD player.
The breakfast buffet and the beds were excelent. The site location is great and the building has a great history
The service staff at the breakfast room was not good.
they put me in a room that had a stained mattress with no sheets on it! i was completely turned off. they gave me another room and a king bed but I was very skeeved out.
The location was great and the glass elevator and the views are fantastic
Our room wasn't spectacular for the money. We were on the 25th floor, so the view was great, but the room was nothing special. Very outdated and bland. Not worth the money.
I loved the location, how busy the hotel was, how helpful the staff were and the huge corner room we got for quite a decent price! We were very comfortable and delighted to be there.
The mini bar was not available to use for farmers market purchases. I was told to remove my personal items from the refer. I was not aware that room wifi was an added expense and spent thinking my iphone was not working properly, the concierge mocked me for using my iphone and asking him for his opinion of the internet results for a breakfast restaurant.i had to correct all their check-in mistakes:ie, wrong keys to the wrong rooms that were booked and then upgraded one of rooms with no mention of the up-graded price.iwill not be returning to this hotel.
Good location, bed was so comfortable
My room was stuffy, the air conditioner was not the best, a ceiling fan would have been so much better, also my room was close to the lifts so it was very noisey.
Old furniture in room, slow internet, service was understaffed which lead to long waiting times during check in and room service. Although my room was in the 29th level I could hear every noise from the streets below: they windows are old and not soundproofed.
Our room cost almost $300 per night, it was small, old, tired, air conditioning blew right across the bed creating a draft at your head, tile around toilet in bath was stained yellow ( white marble tile) creating the sense, if not the reality of being dirty , floor carpet was stained, felt dirty and old. Amenities around bed did not reflect a $300. room.
